As a Creative Operations Coordinator at Favor, you’ll join the Brand and Creative team which is responsible for creating physical and digital marketing assets for one of Texas’ fastest growing companies. In this role, you will streamline and track creative production and work closely with our Creative team to ensure both our brand & creative strategy and business objectives are being accomplished. The Creative Operations Coordinator reports directly to the Manager, Brand and Content Strategy.
Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the creative process, top-tier project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience understanding creative productivity and measuring performance, experience developing and iterating on new processes, and a creative approach to problem solving.
What you’ll do:
- Formally define and streamline the briefing, production, quality assurance, approval, testing, learning, optimizing, and scaling phases of the creative process.
- Optimize the team member roles, processes, and technology involved in the creative process so the final assets are always high quality and delivered on time.
- Own the creative project management and briefing process (currently run through Trello) to oversee projects for the Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams, along with all other areas of the business.
- Communicate daily and weekly project updates to the Creative team and project stakeholders.
- Work with the Manager, Brand and Content Strategy to intake and manage all projects that come through the yearly and quarterly integrated planning process.
- Identify gaps in technology that hold the team back and locate tools and solutions that will help address them to improve turnaround times and quality of assets.
- Develop and manage a creative productivity tracker to measure productivity, success, time allocations for each team member, and performance metrics for the Creative team.
- Develop and manage a creative production calendar that sets clear deadlines and ensures 100% of projects are completed on time.
- Work with the team to ensure we have the right guidelines, strategy, and systems in place as it relates to a streamlined process
Skills you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- At least 1–3 years of operations and/or project management experience.
- Experience with an agency or in-house marketing team.
- Knowledge of creative processes, creative disciplines, and production timelines.
- Experience working amongst a marketing team with an understanding of success metrics used in various marketing channels.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong understanding of the various functional aspects of a marketing organization, including digital and social media landscapes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfort communicating with many different teams and clients.
- Experience understanding creative productivity to measure performance of the team’s output.
- Proficiency in developing and iterating on new processes.
- Experience with project management and creative tools like Trello, Asana, Miro, and Figma
