Manager, Brand & Content Strategy

Full Time - Texas or Remote

As a Manager, Brand & Content Strategy, you’ll join Favor’s Brand team which is responsible for one of Texas’s fastest growing brands. The role of Manager, Brand & Content Strategy is to be the expert on our audiences, customer insights, and business objectives and use this knowledge to inform brand strategy and content that drive the business and brand forward. The position will partner closely with the Creative, CRM, Paid Media, Product Marketing, Partnerships, Content & Merchandising and Organic Social teams in developing campaign briefs and generating initiatives from the strategy and development phase, through project/program management and execution, ending in the launch, measurement and optimization of the campaigns, through the lens of improving awareness, acquisition and retention efforts for our audiences. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, creative, and analytical individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Own, and consistently audit, our brand positioning statements, brand guidelines, training protocols, differentiation and overall Brand strategy for our five audiences (Customer, Runner, Merchant, H-E-B & Employer).
  • Lead our Integrated Marketing bi-monthly planning process and partner with the Creative, CRM, Paid Media, Product Marketing, Partnerships, Content/Merchandising and Organic Social teams to ensure we’re achieving our bi-monthly Marketing KPIs, and our content strategy is consistent across channels. 
  • Distill customer insights, business objectives, performance marketing goals, and success criteria to develop campaign briefs and toolkits to support initiatives and strategic launches across our five audiences.
  • Audit and develop content opportunities, and processes, that highlight our brand and differentiation strategy, inclusive community moments, and correctly position Favor.  
  • Work closely with our research team to conduct competitive research, perform content audits, and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities, mediums, and challenges (including podcasts, interactive elements, video, infographics) to engage target audiences and further awareness.
  • Measure impact, and return of effort, by working with marketing channels and reporting on brand, growth and performance KPIs as well as our awareness, retention and acquisition efforts.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communication, or related field. 
  • 3+ years of brand strategy and content strategy experience. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge, and past experience, working with various marketing channels and how to use them to drive results. 
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience building creative and brand briefs for internal teams and external partners. 
  • Experience managing brand content, positioning, and content strategy for a consumer brand. 
  • Experience in management (preferred).
