Favor is seeking a passionate Product Designer to define how on-demand delivery works for customers, Runners (that’s what we call our delivery drivers), restaurants, and stores. We’re a close-knit team of designers, researchers, and product managers, guided by a collaborative, iterative, user-centered design process. As a member of Favor’s Product team, you will craft experiences that help Runners earn on their own terms and Texas businesses reach customers near them. You will delight consumers who are hangry for a taco or simply need a few items from H-E-B.
What You'll Do:
- Design amazing experiences across multiple touchpoints, including mobile and web applications
- Participate in discovery and feature ideation, create mockups and prototypes, and work closely with engineers to finalize your designs
- Partner with user experience researchers, product managers, and software engineers to discover possibilities and evaluate your work
- Understand our service and the user experience of each of our products
- Present ideas to teammates, engineers, and key stakeholders
- Work with cross-disciplinary partners to dig into issues, gather feedback, and design the right solutions
Skills You Have:
- A relevant degree or comparable formal training, certification, and/or work experience
- 3+ years of experience designing and building products for mobile and desktop experiences, specifically with Figma
- Experience applying established design patterns to your work
- A portfolio that demonstrates your experience designing products users love
- A core design skill set that includes strategy, wireframing, information architecture, and visual design
- Experience in marketplaces, gig economy, and/or a complex system design is a plus

- You think in both low and high fidelity and understand the impact of design on user experience across an ecosystem of products
- You have a passion for identifying and solving customer problems
- You love to engage with research and hear from users directly
- You have top-notch Figma skills
- You have excellent communication and persuasion skills with an ability to explain your work
- You can clearly describe design choices to a variety of audiences
- You naturally speak on behalf of the user
- You have an acute attention to detail—inconsistencies in products drive you crazy
