Product Manager, Consumer

Full Time - Texas or Remote

We’re looking for a Product Manager to help Favor grow to become a household name in Texas and beyond. 

As a Consumer Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving increased orders through higher conversion in our customer funnel. You’ll work closely with our merchandising team to create in-app experiences that showcase our expansive selection of merchants while also providing personalization. Making every Favor perfect will also be part of your goal as you optimize our content accuracy with merchant hours and menus to create great end-to-end experiences for our users. 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders and executives to define high-level goals for major product initiatives shaping our customer’s browsing and ordering experience. 
  • Work with merchandising, content operations, and business intelligence to seize opportunities and define goals and metrics for our products and to understand success of product launches. 
  • Provide UX and design with the context and feedback that they need to create delightful user experiences that add value to our customers. 
  • Lead your engineering squad throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring the right problems are prioritized, they’re being solved in the best way possible and that the entire squad has a shared understanding of goals and specifications.  
  • Prepare the organization for change with product marketing and support resources. 
  • Communicate constantly and effectively to all levels of the company to ease concerns and gather feedback. 
  • Actively participate in cross-functional strategy group to constantly innovate and improve our customer experiences in ways that align with our key goals.  

Skills & Qualifications:

  • A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in product management
  • Experience in mobile app and web 
  • Great communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with JIRA or similar tools
  • Technical experience is not required, but you must have a basic understanding of software, design, and data analysis

  • Is most comfortable when there’s too much to do. You aren’t easily overwhelmed and you prioritize tasks naturally. You’re not afraid to focus on one thing at a time when it’s needed. 
  • Has high dynamic range. Ability to see the big picture but comfortable diving deep into the details. You’re not above rolling up your sleeves and doing the grunt work. 
  • Loves great products. You are excited by thoughtful design and you appreciate attention to detail and fine craft. 
  • Confident but humble. Ability to make decisions with the wisdom to change course as soon as needed. Ability to collaborate with a diverse group of individuals without drama.
