VP, Sales

Full Time - Austin, TX

Favor is looking for an authentic, strategic, and hands-on VP of Sales with a genuine passion for people management and team leadership. This role will report to our COO & President and work to build and support our team of exceptional Account Executives, Account Managers, Sales Operations specialists, and Sales leaders who serve and support our local, regional, and national Merchant partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive total net revenue components including sales pricing and fee structure, merchant partnerships, last mile partnerships, and merchant integration
  • Develop, communicate, and execute effective sales strategies in partnership with the Sales leadership team
  • Identify key business development opportunities, regionally and nationally, and define strategies to enable achievement of new partnerships
  • Maintain and develop active reporting on targets, pipelines, forecasts, results, and key partnership opportunities with Sales Operations team
  • Collaborate with cross functional partners such as Product and Marketing to continuously improve Favor’s value proposition for existing and future merchant partnerships
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition and People teams to recruit, retain, and develop Sales talent 
  • Create an inspiring and empowered work environment for sales team members to thrive by defining clear career paths and identifying individual growth opportunities

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
  • 10+ years in sales and 7+ years experience in a sales leadership position
  • Demonstrated track record of creating strategic relationships across the business while driving alignment on high-priority, high-visibility initiatives
  • Expert in organizational design and building an effective and motivated sales team
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as team member motivation techniques
  • Strong ability to acquire knowledge of Favor's products, competitive products, and the market
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills
