Ethiopia - Yirgacheffe (Washed Process) Pour Over
Around 1,500 small farm holders of specialty varietals cooperatively produce this washed Yirgacheffe comprised primarily from heirloom varietals. All milling takes place at the Berhanu Semu Mill which actively promotes and participates in sustainable practices within the community by using discarded coffee waste as compost for local coffee farms to use. These coffees are grown between 1,800-2,000 MASL. We taste lemon, raspberry, caramel, and chocolate.
Honduras - Santa Barbara (Natural Processed) Pour Over
Juan Hipp and family have been running this farm in Honduras for generations. They stopped into our shop one afternoon and we became quick friends. We now buy directly from them and plan to visit their operation and homestead as soon as we can. They are doing things right and are focused on quality production from start to finish. We are very lucky to have the opportunity to work with them and we hope you enjoy too. This coffee went through a fermentation process that gives it a fantastic tart sweetness. We taste chocolate, light melon, and tobacco.
